Always exploring new directions, SuZen’s art has evolved from fine-arts photography shown in galleries and museums internationally to the New York City public arena, where she has organized numerous events and exhibited her installations and performance art in public spaces. Receiving a grant from  New York State Council on the Arts, her 40’ x 25’ painted mural has graced Times Square since 1984. Celebrating at her 50 year retrospective, Visions of Light & Spirit, she premiered her new multi-media installation,Transmigration, inspired by Buddha’s teachings. It is the culmination of all her work, bringing together surrealism, multiple layers of reality, light and spirit.

In 1990, Capra Press published her book, The Love Story of Sushi and Sashimi: A Cat Tale. Bringing together SuZen’s love of cats and passion for fashion, she began hand silkscreening her designs onto luxurious fabrics and created the SuSu®. She then designed and patented the CatWrap® – the bodysuit with a secret and most recently she designed the JacCAT® – the Jacket for CatLovers. Over the years, SuSu.NYC has expanded with a diverse collection of SuZen Creations.
